Editorial policy

Where our information comes from

Supplier details come from the company’s own website: what it makes or supplies, who it serves, where it is based and how to contact it. Show dates, venues and organisers come from the organiser’s official website. Trade show exhibitor lists and association member lists help us discover suppliers, but we never copy them in bulk, and every listing is checked against the business’s own site before it is published.

Check dates

Each listing shows the source we used and the date we last checked it. We recheck listings at least every six months, and members’ listings every 90 days. Where a supplier’s website no longer confirms a fact, we update or remove it rather than leave it standing.

What a listing means

Listings are compiled independently and published unclaimed. A claimed listing means the business has shown us it can manage the listing; it is not an endorsement, a quality check or a recommendation. Being listed, claimed or checked are separate facts.

Paid placement

Suppliers can buy an annual membership. Members are listed above free listings, carry a member label wherever they appear, and links to their websites are marked as sponsored. Payment never changes the facts on a listing or anything we write in our guides. Some businesses may receive a membership without charge; they are labelled in exactly the same way.

How guides and news are written

Buyer guides and news are written by the Signage Resource team from published sources, which are listed or linked in each article with the date we checked them. Unless an article says otherwise, it is desk research: we do not claim to have tested a product or used a supplier. Guides do not rank paying members above other suppliers.

Corrections

If something is wrong, use our free corrections form or contact us. We check each request against the official source and update the listing and its check date when we make a change. Corrections and removal never depend on payment.
