The calendar is busy and spread across several continents, so it pays to pick carefully. This guide lists the main signage trade shows and print trade shows in 2027 with their dates and venues, explains who each one suits, and gives a simple plan for getting the most from a visit or a booth. ISA International Sign Expo 2027
For the US sign industry, ISA International Sign Expo is the main event of the year. The organizer’s site gives the 2027 trade show as March 31 to April 2, with a pre-conference on March 30, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The International Sign Association, which runs it, describes it as the place where the sign, graphics and visual communications industry gathers. It suits sign companies, fabricators, installers and suppliers who want to see equipment, materials and lighting under one roof and meet the wider US industry.
PRINTING United Expo 2027
PRINTING United Expo runs from September 14 to 16, 2027 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Its organizer describes it as a community shaping the future of the print and packaging industry, so it is broader than signage. It suits print service providers adding wide format, packaging or apparel work, and sign shops that want to see the full range of print technology.
FESPA Global Print Expo 2027
FESPA Global Print Expo returns to Munich from April 6 to 9, 2027. FESPA calls it Europe’s leading exhibition for screen, digital and wide format printing, textile printing and signage. It is the European show to visit if you want to see the latest wide format, textile and UV equipment. FESPA also runs regional events, including FESPA Middle East in Dubai from April 27 to 29, 2027 and FESPA Brasil Digital Printing in São Paulo from March 1 to 4, 2027.
Sign trade shows in the UK and Canada
In the UK, The Sign Show describes itself as the UK’s annual dedicated sign expo. The 2027 edition is at Hall 1, NEC Birmingham, from September 21 to 23. In Canada, Graphics Canada Expo and the Canadian Sign Show are at the International Centre in Toronto from May 5 to 7, 2027. The organizer says the show is held once every two years, so 2027 is the year to go.
Digital signage at ISE 2027
ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) is an AV and systems integration show rather than a sign show, but it is where many digital signage, LED display and content software companies launch products. ISE 2027 is at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, from February 2 to 5, 2027. See our digital signage suppliers for companies in this part of the industry.
How to choose a signage trade show
- Start with your market. A US sign shop will usually get most from ISA Sign Expo; a UK one from The Sign Show; a European wide format printer from FESPA.
- Match the show to what you want to buy. If you are investing in a wide format printer, CNC router or laser cutter, a show where the maker runs the machine live saves a lot of demo trips.
- Check the exhibitor list before you book travel, and contact the suppliers you most want to see in advance.
- Think about timing. The spring shows are close together, so most companies pick one or two.
Planning a visit or a booth
If you are visiting to buy equipment, bring sample files and the materials you use most, and ask each maker to print or cut them on the show floor. Write down the running costs as well as the machine price, and ask what installation, training and service are included in your region.
