Daktronics introduces see-through LED window displays for shops and quick-service restaurants

Daktronics has introduced see-through LED window displays in 55 in. and 70 in. sizes for retail, convenience and quick-service sites, managed through Venus Control Suite.

Daktronics has introduced see-through LED window displays for storefronts, according to a product announcement published by Signs of the Times on October 27, 2026. The displays are aimed at retail stores, convenience stores, gas stations, quick-service restaurants and shopping centers.

What the displays do

The panels mount inside a store window and show moving content while keeping the view into the store. Standard sizes are 55 in. and 70 in. They can be installed as single units or joined side by side to cover a wider area of glass.

Content is scheduled and managed in Daktronics’ Venus Control Suite, so an operator can update messaging at one site or across several locations from the same software.

For retailers, see-through LED sits alongside printed window vinyl and posters as a way to use storefront glass for messaging without blocking the view in.

Daktronics, based in Brookings, South Dakota, is on our Daktronics profile. Other makers are listed under LED displays and digital signage, and printed alternatives under window, wall and floor graphics.

This item is based on desk research of the published product announcement. We have not seen or tested the displays.
